In a little over two weeks the people of Cheadle will be deciding on who to represent them in Westminster. Let's help keep this seat in the Liberal fold and help keep the Tories out. They will be pulling out all the stops, so we need to put in everything we have, and some, to ensure the work Patsy started can be followed up by Mark Hunter, our candidate. For information on how you can help please call Simon Davey, Cheadle's Caseworker and Researcher on 0776 334 1118 or see below. Let's really earn our summer breaks and ensure that the four years of progress in Cheadle are not rolled back in an instance by giving the seat back to the Conservatives.

The by-election Cheadle, the first of this Parliament, will be on Thursday July 14 after the Liberal Democrats moved the writ last week. The contest caused by the death of the party's MP Patsy Calton who had a 4,020 majority on May 5 - up from just 33 at the 2001 poll. The HQ is open 9am - 9pm, 7 days a week at Tudor House, Woodford Road, Stockport, SK7 2DG, 5 minutes from Bramhall station. For a map, see http://click.cminteractive.com/?2QhG79ZD=280674. Everyone is encouraged to attend!! Call either 07966 198304 or 0161 486 1045.
